About the Hub

The Maxwell Arts and Tourism Hub is an initiative of Maxwell Investments Group Limited in partnership with the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. The Hub considers the tourism of art as a partnership between culture and the tourism industry we creatively contribute to the increment of what is unique about arts and artists in Ghana and abroad. The country’s heritage, which includes its arts, is an embodiment of Ghanaian history and culture. Through these new initiatives, the Maxwell Arts and Tourism Hub has embarked on networking with artists nationwide and abroad for a sustainable and resilient arts culture. The blending of arts and culture with tourism can lead to economic development by bringing visitors to the area, while also contributing to community well-being by invigorating local areas through creative practices.

Exhibitions

To utilise current and innovative events and technological models such as frequent art exhibitions and auctioning through strategic partnership or collaborations, together with the making of a state of the art Hub at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park premises.

To engineer financial models and avenues for investment that can generate sustainable development, marketing and promotion strategies to aid in the national efforts of uplifting Ghana’s Arts and Tourism image

Development

To develop a digital space to connect artists and develop marketing strategies and fund opportunities within the arts and the tourism industry in Ghana

Tourism

To provide guided tours to tourists in collaboration with heritage institutions sign on to the MATH network;

To encourage patronage of the art products and increase visitation to the heritage sites signed on to the MATH network;

To develop a tourism hub that connects all tourism destinations and art galleries into a portal using ICT;
